Hi, I’m your administrator. I'm also the inventor of the Surf Camera case.
After loosing a half a dozen waterproof cameras figuring out a secure worry free way to carry it without it being in my way, I perfected the Surf Camera. (Not to mention dropping all my savings into it too.)
With this I wanted to create a site where everyone who uses the product can show off their surfer shots and speak out about it on the forum. Of course all surf enthusiasts are welcome here.
With help from my staff, we've also created a surf store selling high end water sports products with easy browsing and check out.
I hope you have fun with this site and have the chance to surf with someone you met on here. Learn & share some surf photos, tips or whatever you’re into.
Feel free to advertise your surf business in the "Groups" section at no cost.
Enjoy!
-Scott

Hi Scott, I used to take it out a fait bit with a Surf Camera case attached to an older wettie. I've upgraded the wettie buthave not got around to changing over the case.
Coming into summer I use a 1mm shirt and a rashie but I feel the camera and case will be too heavy. Any sugggestions?
Lately Ive been using one of those GoProHero board cams. I was taking too many shots of everyone else and none of me!

I took the Lumix out to Eka's in Lombok with some mates _I broke my board in the first set so swam around with it and a board trailing after me on my leg rope and snapped them having kept the camera up the sleeve of my long sleeved rashie-anyway it worked out well without interfering with paddling or swimming and I got a few shots which I shall attempt to put on my site but I'm a bit of a novice at this sort of thing.
Cheers

Hey Scott, thanks. Actually that's not me, that's Laird, I threw that up there for my mate Damien to rouse him a bit, shot was taken at Jaws in Maui. Aloha.

Surfing with the new Pentax w80

I took out the new waterproof Pentax w80 for the first time this morning to add a review onto WaterproofCamera-s.com and because I was exited to check it out.
One note to mention is that the Pentax w80 slides very easily in and out of the Surf Camera case.
The surf was super glassy, shoulder high with peaky barrels and enough line to bash the lip 2 to 3 times follo… Continue

Barbados/Surf Style Honeymoon

I just got back from the most amazing honeymoon anyone could possibly dream up. My new bride - Kathleen and I just spent 8 days surfing Barbados on the Atlantic side as well as the Caribbean side. We thought about going to Puerto Rico but we read that the locals aren’t very friendly to US surfers and that you… Continue
